Apart from the trek of the road, the time in Yan'an is short. It was late at night when we arrived in Yan'an, but everyone was not sleepy. We had to look at the pagoda at night. "Towering Pagoda Mountain, Rolling Yanhe River" is the yearning and pursuit of every progressive youth in that legendary era. At that time, they went through all the hardships to find the holy land. After a sleepless night, we got up early the next morning and set off in a hurry. First of all, we came to Wangjiaping, the former site of the Central Military Commission. Several tiled houses, a small auditorium, and an air-raid shelter are all the buildings inside. It is impossible to imagine that in such a simple environment, most of the country's Anti-Japanese War and Liberation War were commanded and dispatched. Yan'an is a city with revolutionary blood flowing. There are still many places to mourn and pay homage. There is a red legend in any place you pass by: in the jujube forest, on the bank of Yanhe River, beside the happiness canal, the statue of Zhang Side... Which place is not the witness of revolution? Which place does not make you admire?
The trip is short, the visit and study will soon be over, but our new journey has just begun. Our Communists in the new era should regard what they have seen and heard this time as another baptism of outlook on life and values.
