In September 2016, a gilded "ISO/TS16949 Quality Management System Certificate" was placed in front of us. At that moment, the joy of all the personnel involved in promoting the implementation of the system was beyond words, because this was the result of the unity and cooperation of all the personnel in the department, sharing weal and woe, overcoming various difficulties, and paying hard work and efforts.

Under the special quality requirements and access system in the international automobile manufacturing field, as an enterprise with rich experience in electromagnetic coil manufacturing, we are not far behind. We strive to develop our own expertise in the field of auto parts manufacturing, so it is imperative to implement the operation of the TS16949 system.

TS system is a set of world manufacturing industry general system based on ISO system but higher than ISO system. It has higher standards and stricter requirements. Its operation still has a lot of pressure on us who are still operating in ISO system standards. First of all, the biggest difficulty comes from the preparation of documents, especially the preparation of procedure documents. Due to the differences in cultural backgrounds of the participating departments, the lack of work experience, and the different understanding and recognition of the system, the efficiency of document preparation is very low. In order to be more appropriate to the actual operation process of our company, each department divides the work and cooperates. First, the documents of each department will be completed separately according to the actual operation process, and then a comprehensive joint review will be conducted. Because they have to participate in the daily production work of the workshop during the day, the meeting discussion, on-site analysis and text revision of the first draft need to be completed overtime at night. Sometimes, when encountering bottleneck problems, only part of one document can be completed in one night. It took nearly eight months from the initial preparation of the document to the completion of the final version. This is only the first step in the operation of the whole system. With the standard document, there is only a reference implementation standard. What can really make the system management effectively serve the enterprise lies in the daily persistence and implementation. This is a process of self-carving and repair. Morning propaganda, on-site implementation, continuous inspection and problem rectification are our daily compulsory courses. In the whole process, we have complaints, grievances and shirks... but more of it is persistence: persistence that we believe we can accomplish and persistence that we will not stop until we reach our goals.

This year is the first year that the new version of the system has been in operation in the company. In order to promote the effective implementation of the TS16949 system, we started a system audit in strict accordance with the standard requirements on September 1. Although we have been trained by internal auditors in the early stage, we are still at a loss and nervous when we really want to carry out actual combat: What should we audit? Where to start the audit? What if it does not meet the requirements of the system? These questions have been spinning in my mind, and I have even realized the meaning of the sentence "when books are used, there is less hatred. The four-day audit was carried out under the condition that the internal auditors were not skilled: the review of documents, the confirmation of forms, and the on-site review... Although not comprehensive, some superficial deficiencies were still found: the contents of the supplier audit plan were not comprehensive; The special characteristics were not reflected after identification; The regulations on the use of chemicals are incomplete, etc. Internal audit is a self-supervision of the maintenance and operation of the whole system. Based on this internal audit, we have also continuously learned the skills and knowledge of the system development, which has laid a good foundation for the future implementation of the system.

Next year will usher in another year of system change. The new version of the system will add more content and have higher requirements. For us, this will be a new challenge we need to meet. However, we believe that only when there is pressure can there be motivation. Although the road of growth sometimes appears to be staggering and difficult, we are making progress. We strive to self-check, find problems, seek improvement and continuous improvement in the follow-up work, and use effective system specifications to protect the quality of our products.

ISO/TS16949:2009 is the technical specification of the international automobile industry, which is added to the technical specification requirements of the automobile industry on the basis of ISO9001. This specification is completely consistent with the ISO9001:2008, but more emphasis is placed on defect prevention and reducing quality fluctuations and waste that are prone to occur in the auto parts supply chain. The pertinence and applicability of the ISO/TS16949 standard is very clear, and it only applies to automobile manufacturers and their direct spare parts manufacturers, which means that these manufacturers must be directly related to the production of automobiles, can carry out processing and manufacturing activities, and Through this activity, the product can add value. At the same time, there are strict restrictions on the qualifications of the certified company manufacturers. Those units that only have supporting functions, such as design centers, company headquarters and distribution centers, or those that manufacture equipment and tools for vehicle manufacturers or auto spare parts manufacturers, cannot be certified. The management of ISO/TS16949:2009 certification is completed by the five major supervisory bodies on behalf of IATF. They adopt the same procedural method to supervise the operation and implementation of ISO/TS16949 specifications, so as to form a completely unified system of standards and operations throughout the world.
